Purpose
The Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin Senior and Long Term Care Pharmacy Advisory Committee seeks to advise the PSW Board of Directors on the educational and practice needs of pharmacy professionals who serve geriatric patients/seniors and practice in long-term care pharmacy settings, to serve as a professional resource for PSW members, and advocate with PSW on a state and national level to continually advance senior and long-term care pharmacy practice.
Members of the Senior & Long-Term Care Pharmacy Advisory Committee also provide feedback and input to the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) as to the issues affecting Wisconsin practice sites and the barriers that long-term care pharmacy practices in Wisconsin face.
