Continuing Professional Development

Membership in the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin provides significant value and opportunity to continue your professional development.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a self-directed, lifelong process where pharmacy professionals maintain and enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies throughout their careers. It includes formal and informal learning experiences, such as attending workshops, earning continuing education credits, engaging in peer mentorship, and obtaining specialty certifications. CPD is essential for staying updated with new developments in pharmacy and improving patient care outcomes. It emphasizes personal responsibility for professional growth and the ongoing evolution of practice standards in the field.
