TERMS & CONDITIONS

Diversity/Equity/Inclusion Policies

PSW is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.  It is the policy of PSW not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, creed, marital status, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, handicap/disability, or any other classification protected by applicable local, state or federal employment laws. This policy applies to all aspects of the employment relationship, including selection and hiring of employees, training opportunities and promotions, discipline and discharge, as well as pay and benefit practices and policies. All employees are expected to conform to and support this policy.

Anti- Harassment Policy

PSW is committed to providing and maintaining a work environment free of sexual or other unlawful harassment. All employees are expected to be familiar with this policy and to actively support it.

PSW prohibits any PSW employee from sexually harassing another employee. This policy applies to all employees, customers, vendors or visitors, male or female. Prohibited sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to:

a. Unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors; b. Unwelcome verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature; c. Making submission to, or rejection of, such conduct a factor in employment decisions affecting the employees; d. Permitting such conduct to interfere with an employee’s work performance, or to create a hostile or intimidating or offensive work environment.

An employee who believes he or she has been the subject of unlawful harassment should inform the perpetrator that his/her conduct is offensive and unwelcomed and report the matter as outlined below if further action is needed.

An employee who believes he or she has been the subject of unlawful harassment should inform the Executive Vice President as soon as possible. If you believe the Executive Vice President is not in a position to adequately address your concerns, you should bring the matter to the attention of the Board of Directors.

After appropriate investigation, any employee found to have unlawfully harassed another employee in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action. Depending upon PSW’s review of the circumstances, such action could include termination of employment.

PSW recognizes that the question of whether a particular comment, action or incident is a purely personal, social matter without a discriminatory effect requires a determination based on the facts. PSW also recognizes that false accusations of harassment can have serious adverse effects. All employees are expected to act honestly and responsibly in complying with and enforcing this policy. It is our desire to provide a pleasant and professional working environment for all persons, free of discrimination.

Other Forms of Unlawful Harassment It is also the policy of PSW not to permit other forms of unlawful harassment based upon race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation or other status protected under applicable local, state or federal fair employment laws. This includes ethnic jokes, slurs or name calling. The standards and procedures set forth above apply equally to those forms of unlawful discrimination.

 No Retaliation
Consistent with our commitment to a workplace free from unlawful discrimination, it is the policy of PSW not to tolerate any form of retaliation against any employee who makes a claim of unlawful harassment or discrimination in good faith.

We encourage all employees to raise any questions regarding this policy or any suspected discrimination in the workplace with the Executive Vice President.

Compliance Assurance

PSW will operate in accordance with all Civil Rights Compliance requirements applicable to federal civil rights laws. PSW policies are provided to the PSW Executive Committee on an annual basis and needed updates will be made by the PSW Executive Vice President. PSW will use an internal no retaliation grievance policy that provides prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability. PSW provides annual employee training on organizational policy as it relates to equity, diversity, nondiscrimination, and inclusion practices.
