Statement of Purpose
I am seeking election as Region B Director to advocate for pharmacists, technicians, and students in rural and community-based settings. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the essential role pharmacy teams play in expanding access to care, improving outcomes, and supporting the sustainability of rural healthcare systems.

Wisconsin pharmacy faces ongoing challenges, including workforce shortages, reimbursement pressures, and evolving regulations. I am committed to advancing sustainable clinical service models, protecting programs like 340B, and ensuring pharmacists are recognized, reimbursed, and fully utilized as providers. Advancing provider status is critical to the future of our profession and to expanding access to care, particularly in rural communities. I am equally passionate about empowering pharmacy technicians to practice at the top of their scope while receiving appropriate recognition and compensation.

I have prioritized developing the future workforce by establishing a residency program to build a pipeline of pharmacists prepared to serve rural communities. As a leader, I have implemented innovative services such as Meds2Beds and expanded ambulatory care services, including diabetes management. I have also broadened medication access through free drug, patient assistance, and drug repository programs. I assisted in developing a technician career ladder, and expanding student internship opportunities.

I am committed to listening, engaging, and advocating for practical solutions that strengthen our profession and the communities we serve.

Statement of Purpose
2026: What an extraordinary time to be a healthcare provider! The landscape in which we practice is evolving rapidly—characterized by shifting reimbursement models, medication shortages, workforce challenges, advances in technology, changes in preventative care guidelines, and more. The pace of change seems to be accelerating exponentially.

In this dynamic environment, I am ridiculously grateful to be part of a strong, united, and progressive PSW team. This organization has served as a Wisconsin change management pillar for countless pharmacy professionals, healthcare teams, and most importantly, our patients. PSW’s impact has shaped both our professional and personal journeys.

For me, PSW has been a motivating force, inspiring my growth as a pharmacy leader at each stage of my career. I am committed to fostering that same drive and determination in others, both within and outside our profession. Together we are ready to tackle the challenges we face as a healthcare community. Throughout my professional journey, I have championed the expansion of pharmacists practicing under scope of and elevated the role of medication management pharmacy technicians. I hope to bring that same desire to raise the bar for all through this new role as Region B Director.
